Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the appointed time for focusing on the good in our lives. In each of our days, we can find small blessings, but too often we overlook them, choosing instead to spend our time paying attention to problems. We give our energy to those who cause us trouble instead of those who bring peace. Starting now, let’s be on the lookout for the bits of pleasure in each hour, and appreciate the people who bring love and light to… Read more »

YouTube has been a big help in deciding which art supplies I am willing to invest in. Also, stumbled across a great animation and graphic… Read more »

The 100 day art challenge

Since starting my new position as a digital designer, my artistic skills has taken a backseat. UGH! Art is why I got into graphic design to begin with, so having a creative block is not OK. Since Spring I’ve wanted to give myself a creative reboot, by making an effort to do things outside my comfortable nesting place. Most of us have fantasies about shutting down our technology and taking a long trip to Italy to try something different……Well, maybe… Read more »

It’s art season and one of my favorite events to be a part of is the Denver Chalk Festival happening June 4 – 5 in LoDo on Larimer. Make a day of it, have lunch or dinner, take your time seeing beautiful art come together, then go shopping on 16th street mall. I’ll be recreating Red Boy 1 from the True Colors Collection and posting on Instagram and streaming live in real time on my Facebook page. I hope to… Read more »
