Have you been challenged? This have been a challenging experience for me. The first day of the challenges was to be an art experience at the Botanical Gardens. It was a dramatic day, I had to lay my 11yr old cat “Ali” to rest…..2 weeks later I had to lay my 14yr old car to rest….YES, challenging.
I did have the opportunity to visit Hammond’s Candy for some chocolate culinary art delight (It was their Christmas In July sale). I highly recommend visiting Hammond’s at the holidays during their Candy Cane Festival.
Cirque du Soliel Toruk came to Denver and it was AMAZING! It was an interactive show, you could download the app and alerts were sent to your phone to add extra theatrical lighting to show (can you images a few thousand phones lighting up at the same time?) I only wish I had gotten closer seats to see the costumes and makeup up close. Brought my mom with me and she enjoyed herself greatly.
I’ve been having fun trying out different artist colored pencils and markers. I’ll be posting my honest opinion about the brands I chose to try out on my art blog justnoami.blogspot.com.
